MAKE SURE YOUR CHILDREN SPEAK YOUR NATIVE LANGUAGE.

Learning the language of your heritage is the best way to learn about your family traditions and where you came from. It is not only about the culture, but also think about the job opportunities that present themselves to individuals who speak more than one language. Therefore, it is important for parents to teach their children how to speak Spanish or Portuguese when they are at a young age. Make sure that they can also write it. Take some time everyday and practice speaking to them only in Spanish or Portuguese. At the end of the day who could argue how enriching it is to speak more than one language?
